Washer is right. I’ve been ashamed of the gospel’s outrageous insult. I’ve been more concerned that the recipient of my evangelism sees me as a kind, nonjudgmental person than about whether or not that person spends an eternity apart from Christ. This is a radical, unpopular—but sobering and biblical— approach to witnessing.
